Current opportunities: Part-time budtender (15-35 hours per week)
Full-time budtender
(35-40 hours per week)
As a Budtender, your duties will be to ensure that the cannabis purchasing experience flows smoothly and is an enjoyable experience for all of our customers. This includes checking IDs, guiding customers to the appropriate cannabis products and/or accessories, thoughtfully answering questions/concerns, and complying with all regulations. Our Budtenders should always provide friendly and prompt customer service while remaining professional. At Mary Jane Muskoka, customer service is key!
Requirements:
Minimum 19 years of age
CannSell Training Certificate (Must complete before your first day)
Current criminal Record check
Some experience in the retail and/or customer service industry an asset
Excellent organization, oral and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as a part of our team
Trustworthy, reliable and particular with the handling cash and POS systems
Kind, confident, and personable customer service
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and check IDs
Guide customers along their cannabis purchasing journey
Maintain up to date knowledge on new trends and products in the industry
Effectively operate the POS system and cash register
Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained on a daily basis
Assist with opening/closing of the store when required
Ensure compliance with all AGCO cannabis laws and regulations at all times
Pay: $18-$21/hr
